Catherine “Kit” Hoover is an American television personality, sportscaster and broadcast journalist currently serving as the host of Access, and co-host of Access Live. Hoover received a B.A. in communications from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she earned a scholarship for Track and Cross Country.
Hoover made her television debut as a cast member on Road Rules: USA – The First Adventure, the inaugural season of MTV’s Road Rules in July 1995, a reality television series that followed five college-age cast members crisscrossing the country in a Winnebago. Following Road Rules, Hoover was hired as an entertainment correspondent for American Journal, a nationally syndicated magazine show (1997–98). She is known for her work on Cutthroat Island, Guiding Light (A soap opera originally titled ‘The Guiding Light.’) and Donny!.
